About GreetDesk
We built GreetDesk because the phone is still the most important channel for a small business, and it's the one most likely to be answered badly.
Why we exist
Our founder spent years around service businesses — clinics, contractors, restaurants, small firms — and kept seeing the same thing. A customer calls. Nobody picks up. The customer moves on. The owner never even knows it happened. Meanwhile the tools that were supposed to help were either phone trees that frustrate callers or answering services that charge by the call and close at 6pm.
We started GreetDesk to fix one specific problem: make sure a small business never loses a customer just because nobody could pick up the phone. Not with a phone tree. With a real conversation that books the appointment and hands the owner a clear summary.
Who we are
GreetDesk is a small, independent team. We're not a giant call center and we're not trying to be. We build the product ourselves, we answer our own support email, and we use the same tools we sell. If something is broken, you'll hear it from us first.
You can reach a human at hello@greetdesk.ai. We read every message.
What we believe
- Transparency over tricks. Our minute pricing and overage rates are published, not hidden.
- Privacy by default. We don't store call audio unless you ask us to, and we never train models on your calls.
- AI for the routine, humans for the judgement. The best setup hands the important calls to a person.
- Small businesses deserve good software. You shouldn't need an enterprise contract to stop missing calls.
How we build
GreetDesk runs on a modern serverless stack and uses a dedicated real-time voice platform so conversations feel natural. The browser demo connects directly to the voice engine, so your audio never passes through our servers. We keep the system small on purpose: fewer moving parts means fewer things to go wrong at 2am.
